Our mission is to inspire and build STEM career readiness in Hawaii's K-12 youth through our NexTech community education programs and networks.

Since 2017, NexTech Hawai'i has connected hundreds of youth across Hawai'i island to fun, high-impact STEM experiences and mentorship opportunities that promote exploration and discovery in STEM subjects and careers, and builds the confidence to lead and serve.

We rely on the generosity of many professional partnerships and community relationships to source volunteers and mentor support. Our extra-curricular camps and competitions are designed to inspire creative, collaborative, real-world problem solving through STEM.

We envision engaging every child in Hawai'i through meaningful STEM education opportunities to grow tomorrow's leaders and create a brighter and sustainable future for our islands.

We celebrate diversity, strive for inclusion, and facilitate collaboration and innovation.

Our objectives:

• Greater access to high-quality STEM experiences for our underserved to increase interest and diversity in STEM fields,

• Rigorous and innovative educational opportunities to support and grow STEM education initiatives on the island, and

• Build a locally-based workforce for STEM careers and increase demand for STEM-related industries in Hawaii.
