NexTech Hawaii is pleased to present Bridges of Hamakua, a journey that explores the history of the bridges along the Hamakua coast and the engineering involved in the construction and renovation of these bridges. Also included, is a classroom activity that will delve into bridge design. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

A shuttle service will be provided for West Hawaii participants. It will depart Kona (location TBD) at around 8AM and will return around 5PM.

All participants will be shuttled to Kolekole Beach for the bridge tour and Waiakea High School for the classroom component.

Space for this event is limited - we will be accepting applications on a first-come, first-served basis. This is open to Hawaii Island students (grades 8-12).
